  • 4 5” Cali’flour Foods Flatbreads semi thawed
  • 4 all-natural hot dog weiners
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • Water
  • 1 med sweet onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 2 c ketchup
  • 1 T prepared yellow mustard
  • ½ t Kosher salt
  • ½ t ground black pepper
  • 2 t chili powder
  • 1 t Worcestershire sauce
  • Optional: grated sharp cheddar cheese and chopped onion
Prepare Chili Sauce:
Place ground beef in a bowl and cover with cool water. Use a wooden spoon or your hands to break up the beef. Set aside.

On stovetop in a large saute pan or Dutch oven, heat oil over med heat and saute onion (5 min) til soft then add garlic (1 min).  Empty meat and water to pan. Cook til beef is no longer pink on outside. Mix in ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, chili powder and Worcestershire sauce. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 min, stirring frequently. Remove from heat when beef is cooked through; mixture has reduced and thickened.

Prepare Hot Dogs:
Preheat the oven to 400-425. Place one hot dog wiener at the corner of the Cali'flour Flatbread closest to you, carefully roll the crust around the hot dog (use a toothpick if needed to keep anchored). Place the prepared hot dog seam-side down onto a cooking sheet lined with parchment paper or vented pizza screen. Repeat to make three more. Bake about 10-15 min or lightly browned. Remove from oven and let rest. Serve hot dogs topped with chili sauce garnished with shredded cheese and chopped onions. Enjoy!
